NCAA Basketball March Madness Bracket Top Betting Underdogs.
The brackets are successfully completed. UCLA, North Carolina, Kansas, and Memphis each get a number one seed.
After winning the ACC championship earlier today, UNC (32-2) was a unanimous overall number one seed in the tournament. Kansas defeats Texas for the Big 12 title. Memphis, the only one loss team in the nation took the Conference USA title and UCLA won the Pac-10 championship.
March madness begins in two days. Mount St. Mary’s and Coppin State are set to face off for the final spot in the tourney. The tournament is set to get underway on March 20th. The National Championship game will be held in San Antonio on April 7th.
If the Final Four was made of the 4 number one seeds, North Carolina, the East Regions top seed, would battle the Kansas Jayhawks, Midwest Region top seed. The Memphis Tigers of the South Region would play the West Region top seed, UCLA.
Let’s start with Pushover games, which are the easy games to pick. They're the 1 vs. 16 and 2 vs. 15 matchups in the 1st round that are no-brainers to forecast. They successfully give everyone an 8-0 gift to get going their brackets. After you look into the easy games to pick you want to focus more on the underdogs. Whenever you are ready to make your bracket selection, make sure to check out our NCAA Tournament Underdogs for the upcoming 3 weeks of pure competitive college basketball. We have compiled some helpful information about some of the teams, who are not ranked or most likely be favored to lose, but we believe they will come on top.
⇒Temple – Look out for the Owls. Temple has won 7 straight and 10 of their last 12. This first round match-up could be one of our classic 5-12 upsets. Temple is one of the hottest teams in the nation. With their only 2 losses in the last 12 games by one point to Dayton and two to Fordham, both coming in mid February, look for Temple to get through the first and possibly second round.
⇒Georgia – These Dawgs are dogs. Georgia defeats Arkansas for the SEC championship to give them their first tournament birth in six years. The Bulldogs are only the third team in NCAA modern history to win four games in as many days. Although they ended up at 18-17 for the year, Georgia will stun Xavier and move on to the second round.
⇒Kentucky – The Wildcats are winners of 11 of their last 14; two of which were against top 25 teams. They beat number 5, Tennessee to begin their climb back into the bracket talk. Kentucky will face number 24 Marquette in the first round. This will be exciting, but Kentucky will continue to roll into the next round.
⇒Pittsburgh – The Panthers were off to a strong start, winning their first 11 games, including a big one point win at Duke. They also ended the season on a five game streak, three of which came in the Big East Championship over #13 Louisville, #24 Marquette and #9 Georgetown. Pitt will obviously make it through the first round, but you can pencil them all the way to the elite 8 in your bracket.
