The Sweet Sixteen is here.  There are 3 double digit seeded teams still alive.  Here are the spreads and our experts’ picks for the Sweet 16.

East

University of North Carolina -7 ½ vs. Washington State University

UNC is scoring at will with 100+ points in consecutive games.  Wazzu has one of the best defenses in the nation, that’s what got them to the Sweet Sixteen.  Tyler Hansbrough will dominate the boards and UNC will be on the way to the Elite Eight for the 2nd straight year.  Take UNC -7 ½.

Tennessee +2 ½ vs. Louisville

Tennessee is making their 2nd straight Sweet Sixteen, but this time Chris Lofton isn’t 100%.  This one will go down to the wire and I have Louisville pulling it off in overtime, but only by 1 point.  Take Tennessee +2 ½.

Midwest

Kansas -11 ½ vs. Villanova

Villanova has been a huge surprise this year.  They upset the #5 Clemson Tigers and Sienna to make it to the Sweet Sixteen for the 5th time in seven years.  Kansas has been a dominating team in all facets all season long, and will continue to roll over ‘Nova.  Take Kansas -11 ½.

Wisconsin -4 ½ vs. Davidson

Davidson has been a great story this year.  They beat Gonzaga and Georgetown to get to the Sweet 16, but their run is over.  Wisconsin is stingy when it comes to defense.  They don’t give up many points.  Sorry Davidson fans, you’re RUN is over.  Take Wisconsin – 4 ½.

South         West
