Fan Selection of Football Playoff Logo
The 2014 football playoff regular season will now have an official logo that is to be chosen by a voting poll conducted by the fans.
Hancock made a statement to the effect that with the post-season moving in a new direction the logo should change along with it. Hancock also said “The Gold Football Design is a sharp and polished look that will represent the new system nicely.” He also stated, that like their new name, “It’s direct and to the point.” With only 611 days remaining until the first playoff in the new system it is now a very exciting time for football fans everywhere.
The “Gold Football” logo won with a majority vote of 38% of the more than 100,000 votes cast. Logo three scored a not disrespectable 25% with logo one not far behind at 24%. Logo four lagged a little and only managed to attract 13% of the votes (you can see all the logos above). The logo you see on the far right is reportedly the victim of a vote stuffing attempt by a hacker located in Austin, Texas.
